This year the Breeders Cup Classic will transpire in the beautiful Santa Anita Park located in the city of Arcadia, California. With a total of fourteen races during the two day event, there will be the exciting sum of $26 million dollars in purses. When Breeders Cup was not so popular, it would only be a 1 day event but with the expanding interest of the public, it turned into two of the most exciting days in horse racing betting.

This year the Breeders Cup Classic betting frenzy will start with six exciting races. All of them will take place on the first day of the event, meaning Friday, November 1st. • $2 Million Breeders Cup Ladies Classic

Saturday of course is the biggest day in Breeders Cup Betting and the most exciting one as well. On Saturday, races such as the Breeders Cup Classic take place! This is the main course of the event. The full stretch of the race is 1 ¼ mile long and the winner takes $5 million dollars home. You will also be able to bet on the Breeders’ Cup Turf which is 1 ½ mile long and the winner earns $3 million as prize. Another race on the board is the Breeders Cup Mile with a prize of $2 million dollars. Other races are the Sprint and the Juvenile both with prices of $2 million. There are a few others to mention on the board taking place on Saturday so as you can see there is plenty of action for the horseracing fan. ABC televises part of the Breeders Cup for Saturday and ESPN then takes over to televise the remaining races.
