UFC Odds

In the rounds option the UFC odds are also based on money lines. UFC odds have become more popular in recent years and Ultimate Fighting has replaced boxing as the sport for gamblers that bet fights. Many gamblers like to have as many options as possible when the bet UFC action and the rounds proposition is an interesting one.

The rounds option is similar to a total in other sports. You wager on whether the fight will go over or under the posted UFC odds. The difference you will see in UFC odds on a round proposition is that the rounds are not very many. Most UFC bouts don’t last very long. Oftentimes you will see the rounds listed at 1.5 with a total attached to them in UFC odds. For example, you might have over 1.5 rounds at -120 and under 1.5 rounds at -110. That means you are risking $120 to win $100 on the over or the 12/10 equivalent in UFC odds or you are risking $110 to win $100 or the 11/10 equivalent.

There are some things to remember as you look at UFC odds, especially when it comes to the rounds option. You always want to be aware of how long the fight is scheduled for as you bet UFC action. Most major title fights are scheduled for five rounds while the other fights are usually three rounds. As you look to bet UFC action in terms of the rounds remember to look at past fights. If you have two fighters that traditionally go for knockouts and quick submission then you don’t want to bet the over in UFC odds.

Another thing to keep in mind about UFC odds is that oftentimes the undercard odds are not listed until the day of the fight or the day before. The main two fights will have odds listed weeks in advance but undercard bouts usually are put up on the UFC odds board the day of the fight. Keep that in mind as you bet UFC action this year.
