UFC Betting : Sport on the Rise
The simple fact of the matter is that UFC betting offers much more variety than does boxing and as such is able to attract a much wider audience. UFC betting has been around for years but it’s only recently that it’s gained such a huge following.
People that keep up with UFC betting cite many reasons for the sports overwhelming popularity and there may not be one correct answer, but most ultimate fighting aficionados claim that the many different fighting styles make UFC betting preferable to boxing. Whereas in boxing the only fighting style is of course boxing, which is exciting but lacks in variety compared to UFC betting.
In fact, if you enjoy boxing you’ll almost certainly enjoy UFC betting as boxing is one of the fighting styles that is used. It is not necessarily one of the most popular UFC betting styles but it nonetheless is one that is used in the sport. The reason why more people don’t use the boxing style in ultimate fighting betting is that the fight almost always ends up on the mat in UFC betting so it’s important to know how to use wrestling based fighting. Most boxers don’t have these skills and that puts them at a severe disadvantage in the UFC betting.
Also, boxing is much too limited as a discipline to have much success in ultimate fighting betting. For example the rules governing boxing allow only the use of fists, which as any UFC betting fan knows is quite a disadvantage against some using his legs as well to kick. Anytime two athletes are fighting in UFC betting and one athlete is simply using his fits while the other is also kicking, the boxing style fighter is generally at a severe disadvantage.
That’s not to say that boxing is not used in UFC betting, but simply that it must be supplemented with some other fighting style as well to be competitive in ultimate fighting betting.
